Each year, as additional data become available, NB-IRDT publishes an updated report on graduate retention in New Brunswick, presenting the latest insights on the decisions of post-secondary graduates regarding whether to remain in New Brunswick or relocate elsewhere. Previous reports in this series have consistently shown that graduates originally from New Brunswick are the most likely to stay in the province post-graduation. This newly released update, which includes data on individuals who graduated in 2021, examines recent graduate cohorts and assesses whether these trends have influenced retention rates.
