Launched in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Canadian Perspectives Survey Series (CPSS) is a new initiative using survey approaches never before deployed by Statistic Canada. It is comprised of a pool of individuals who complete several short online surveys over the course of a single year.
The current focus of the CPSS is the COVID-19 pandemic, with 6 series completed to date, and the first two now accessible in the RDC:
- Measuring the impacts of COVID-19
- Monitoring the effects of COVID-19
The first series includes information about how COVID-19 affected employment, behavior, and health. The second series expands those selections to capture information about mental health, and food security.
