Dr. Kathy Wilson is UNB’s first vice-provost learning and student experience. Dr. Wilson oversees student affairs and services, experiential learning and the newly established learning futures unit.
With a focus on student success, units within her portfolio foster a transformative education for diverse learners by providing leading edge student supports, opportunities for experiential education, enhanced teaching and learning excellence, innovative online academic programming, micro-credentials, and professional learning.
Before taking on this new position, Dr. Wilson was vice-president academic (Fredericton) at UNB since January 2021. She also served as associate vice-president academic (learning environment) and has held several positions within the faculty of nursing.
Throughout her time at UNB, Dr. Wilson has demonstrated optimism, compassion and determination in her belief in the transformative power of teaching and learning.
