Kristian is a soccer player, the vice-president of the UNB Varsity Reds Athletics Council, UNB Kinesiology Society Council member, an organizing committee member for the 2017 and 2018 Coupe U Cup men’s hockey championships and an active volunteer for the Fredericton Community Kitchen as well as the Mississauga ITALFEST.

Devoted to unleashing potential in himself and others, Richard is a co-chair of TEDxUNB, president/co-founder of the UNB Math Society, orientation chair of the UNB Student Union as well as the marketing manager.
Ahmed Eldesoky, Fredericton, N.B., Science, Chemistry, UNB Fredericton became involved in his community specifically to challenge the status quo and have a positive impact. Ahmed has been able to fulfil this through his volunteer work the Atlantic Student Research Journal, Canadian Undergraduate Conference on Healthcare (CUCOH), UNB Student Union’s Academic Programming Team, UNB Chemistry Society, Let’s Talk Science, Global Brigades, AIDS NB, Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and Vision Mate.
Jaymee Brianna Parker, Doaktown, N.B., Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, UNB Fredericton, believes in the positive effect we can have on others and the importance of volunteerism. Brianna is an active volunteer with the English Literacy Friend and the Best Buddies Programs, Autism Resources Miramichi and the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home.

With a commitment to serve both local and global communities, Hilary volunteers at the Brunswick St. Street Level Drop-in, Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic as well as working as an intern at the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.
Kenya Plut, Edmonton, Alta., Bachelor of Business Administration, Human Resource Management, UNB Saint John, sees the value of giving back to the UNB community and the surrounding areas. Kenya set out to improve the experience of not only the students at UNB Saint John but others as a volunteer for Right to Play/YMCA Mentor, SwimAbility Saint John, The Promise Partnership, UNB Students’ Representative Council President and as a UNB Board of Governor’s representative.
Elizabeth Rowe, Corner Brook, N.L., Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership, UNB Fredericton, is passionate about creating change and making a difference. Elizabeth has travelled to Honduras as part of a medical team with the Global Brigades program, is co-president/co-founder of the UNB Mental Health Association, secretary for the Renaissance College Society, committee member of the UNBSU LGBTQ+ and a Best Buddies Event Coordinator.
Lua Samimi, Fredericton, N.B., Bachelor of Science, Biology, UNB Fredericton, two passions in life – community development and international healthcare. Lua volunteers at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and as a Junior Youth Empowerment group leader, as well as serving as president of the UNB Global Medical Brigades and vice-president of the UNB Health Sciences Society.
Patrick Joseph Marc Savoie, Fredericton, N.B., Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, UNB Fredericton, is a firm believer in taking risks, continuous learning and serving others. He fulfils this belief as an organizer for Kumvana, peer mentor for the faculty of engineering, co-president of Engineers Without Borders as well as volunteering for a summer in Uganda with the Engineers Without Borders’ portfolio team, supporting underserved East African social enterprises.
