UMSA-UNB Agreement
James Hugh Taylor and
Brent Robert Petersen are two faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering at UNB who taught Master’s level courses at UMSA in 2019, under an agreement between UMSA and UNB. This was the third year of UNB course offerings at UMSA; earlier participants were
Bruce Gordon Colpitts and
Eduardo Castillo Guerra in 2017 and
Rajamani Doraiswami and
Saleh Saleh in 2018. It was this agreement which facilitated Professor Petersen’s and Taylor’s presence in La Paz, which allowed them to participate in other events, such as the opening of the IEEE Student Branch at UMSA. Five of the faculty members are shown in these images, which were captured in June, 2019.
