Salary Range:

$62,997.00 - $81,893.00 per annum

YOUR FOCUS:

 

 

 

Reporting to the Director of SPECTRAL, the Innovation Director works within the Spatial Computing Education, Training, and Research Lab (SPECTRAL) and builds relationships across a range of industries to develop service offerings that benefit the Centre's partners and align with the Centre.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a combination of equivalent training and work experience may be considered.
  • 5 years in administration in information technology and/or R&D environment.

 


Additional Strengths

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration or Computer Science would be considered an asset.
  • Strong communication and planning skills.
  • Understanding of the aerospace and/or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience and expertise in marketing, client relationships and budgeting.

 

 

 

WHO WE ARE:

 

 

 

The Spatial Computing Education, Training and Research Lab (SPECTRAL) is a research and development, industry liaison and training, student education unit that operates in close collaboration with regional, national, and international collaborators from aerospace and other industries to support needs around spatial computing and mixed reality (including virtual and augmented reality). SPECTRAL is a research center within the Faculty of Computer Science.

 

 

 

This position is part of the PSAC, Local 60551 employee group and falls under the PTSU Collective Agreement.
