The Faculty of Education in the University of New Brunswick invites applications for a two-year limited term Assistant Teaching Professor appointment in Educational Administration and Leadership. This appointment will commence July 1, 2023.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership, or will be close to completion of the degree, or have significant related school administrative experience at the Vice-Principal or Principal level or above. The applicant must demonstrate excellence in his/her teaching and have demonstrated leadership service in schools and communities. Experience or willingness to strengthen linkages with the professional community will be considered an asset. Post-Secondary teaching experience is preferred. Experience with exceptional learners will also be considered an asset.

We are seeking someone who will take a leadership role in the design and delivery of graduate courses (both online and face-to-face) related to Educational Administration and Leadership. The successful candidate will be required to do some traveling to other areas of the province and will be involved with the leadership professional development projects, which are currently underway within the province. The candidate will also be required to do some graduate advising and application review.

The University of New Brunswick is one of the oldest public universities in Canada. It offers degrees in more than 60 disciplines encompassing a range of academic and professional programs. The Faculty of Education offers a variety of graduate and undergraduate programs in teacher education that are delivered in a variety of formats, including face-to-face and online. The Faculty of Education is active in international programs and has been highly successful in obtaining research grants and contracts.
