As part of UNB's Faculty of Engineering growth and renewal activities, the Department of Chemical Engineering is inviting applications for a tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointment will be subjected to final budgetary approval, with a proposed start date of July 1, 2023.
Applicants must hold doctorate and undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with a demonstrated ability to effectively teach the core curriculum of the Chemical Engineering program. The successful incumbent must demonstrate a strong commitment to research in any field related to chemical engineering, but preference will be given to those with expertise related to biochemical engineering, biofuels and catalytic processes, renewable energy and de-carbonization of energy processes. The candidate must be registered, or be eligible to register, as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB).
