Political scientist receives honourable mention for debut sole-authored book

Congratulations to Dr. Heather Millar, an associate professor of political science at UNB, whose book has received an honourable mention for the American Political Science Association’s Seymour Lipset Best Book Award. “The award is meaningful for me because it comes from the Canadian Politics section of one of the leading scholarly associations in Political Science,” said Millar.

Lucia O'Sullivan receives UNB Award for Excellence in Research

Dr. O'Sullivan (BA'87, MA'91) will receive the UNB Award for Excellence in Research at the UNB's Fall Convocation Ceremony in Fredericton. A two-time UNB alumna, professor and chair in the department of psychology, Dr. O'Sullivan is one of North America's foremost researchers in the field of intimate relationships. Her work has shaped the way scholars, clinicians and policymakers understand relationship development, couples' interactions, access to sexual health clinics and resources.
