The Running After Cancer Experiences (RACE-NB) documentary chronicles the journey of five people taking part in a learn-to-run program after having cancer. The program combined running training with psychological workshops designed to help participants identify and overcome barriers to being physically active.
This documentary was produced as part of a research study in the psychology department at UNB, during the spring and summer of 2017. Funding for this project was received from the Harrison McCain Foundation and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Meeting space and training resources were donated by UNB facilities and staff.
