Annette Wetmore

Annette comes to us after working with the UNB Alumni Office for the past 13 years. Annette’s love of meeting new people and being part of a team makes her a wonderful addition to our event planning group. Annette holds degrees from both Carleton University and Dalhousie University but considers UNB her real alma mater. In addition to Annette’s event planning experience within the university community, she has also held positions within the non-profit, private and public sectors that have given her a broad base of experiencing in the event planning world.

Annette is a bit of a ‘committee junkie’ and can rarely say no to an invitation to join a new planning venture. She thrives on being a part of a planning group and taking on new events to see them from early discussion and concept to the final plans and event execution. She loves trying new ideas and will do everything in her ability to make a vision come true.

Annette loves being a part of the UNB family and campus –the friendly and helpful people she gets to work with on a daily basis, the many different facilities and venues and the overall beauty of the campus make every day at work a joy. When she is not at work, Annette is enjoying renovating her 190-year-old farmhouse with her husband (or contemplating burning it down – it depends upon the day) and enjoying life outdoors hiking and exploring with her kids.
