Eliza joined the Faculty of Management in 2023 and is a member of the Business Administration team. She teaches Business Law at the BBA level and Corporate Governance and Law at the MBA. Prior to joining UNB, Eliza had been teaching Business and Company Law for over ten years at the Hong Kong Baptist University, where she was awarded Teaching Excellence in 2020.
Her research interests include business law, company law, rules of equity, and legal history and culture. She is also a member in a variety of legal professional associations, such as the Society of Legal Scholars, Academy of Legal Studies in Business and Canadian Association of Law Teachers.
Eliza has a doctorate in law with her dissertation on development of rules of equity and equitable administration in England during Lord Denning's era, an LLM in commercial and company law from the King's College London and Juris Doctor from the Hong Kong City University.
