Dr. Shagufta Sarwar is an Assistant Professor in the Human Resources area at UNB’s faculty of management. Dr. Sarwar’s main research interests are in the areas of employee engagement, green human resource practices, and corporate social responsibility.
Dr. Sawar has extensive teaching, consultancy and management experience in HR practices, higher education, training and development and career coaching for both public and private entities in UAE and UK, with a keen focus on enhancing people’s wellbeing at workplaces.
She is an invited speaker to several prominent professional and academic forums and has routinely served as an external subject matter expert with the Society of Human Resource Management, USA and higher education institutions in the UK. She is also an active researcher with publications in international peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Sarwar teaches labour relations and human resources selection systems in the BBA program.
