Ryan Reid

Ryan Reid has over 20 years of experience in new venture creation, general management and marketing. He began his career at a startup in Victoria, BC. In 2006, Ryan moved to Fredericton to join a B2B software startup as its marketing manager. He then moved on to co-found and manage a veterinary healthcare business, which he and his partner sold to a UK-owned private equity firm. At BioNB, Ryan worked with dozens of startups in the New Brunswick bioscience space, helping them develop their business plans, access private investment capital and apply for government funding.

Ryan has served on the board of directors for the Harvest Music Festival and the New Brunswick Public Library Service. He has been an instructor in the MBA program at the University of New Brunswick and is a mentor in the Energia Ventures Accelerator.

Ryan holds an MBA from the University of New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Commerce in entrepreneurial management from Royal Roads University and a BA in history from Queen’s University.
