H. A. Eiselt joined the Faculty of Business Administration in 1986 and is a member of the Quantitative Methods Area. He teaches Quantitative Analysis and Location Theory in the BBA program. Dr. Eiselt received the UNB Merit Award in 1991 and 2016. He received the Faculty of Business Administration's Excellence in Research Award in 1998, 2003, and 2015 for outstanding performance across his career.
Dr. Eiselt is an Adjunct Professor with the Department of Industrial Engineering at Dalhousie University. He held positions at Concordia University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong prior to joining the University of New Brunswick.
Dr. Eiselt is Associate Editor of INFOR, and a member of the Advisory or Editorial Boards of Computers & Operations Research.
His research interests include (competitive) location models, multi-criteria decision analysis, and alternate solution methods for linear programming.
Much of his recent work has dealt with issues in multipurpose shopping, political districting, the evaluation of the efficiency of hospitals, and mathematical measures of counterterrorism. Dr. Eiselt is the author or editor of sixteen monographs and has produced 125 refereed journal articles or book chapters. His research papers have been presented in conferences throughout the world.
