Larry Crandall is a member of the New Brunswick Law Society and also holds designations as a Chartered Insolvency Restructuring Professional and as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. While Larry actively practiced as a lawyer, he concentrated on commercial law and insolvency engagements, and acted as an ad hoc Crown prosecutor for offences under the Income Tax Act and Excise Tax Act. Larry is currently a partner with Grant Thornton, and is the Atlantic Leader for Grant Thornton’s consumer insolvency practice.
Larry believes in helping his profession, and sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals, which is the professional association representing almost 1,000 members working in the insolvency profession across Canada. Larry is also an avid speaker on insolvency topics, and is regularly engaged by other professionals and community groups on that topic.
In his personal life, Larry is generally a nerd, enjoys Star Trek, old video games, and doing anything with his family.
