Biography

Rafaella joined the faculty in 2024. Prior to joining the faculty, she worked in the private sector for a German pulp and paper company and a Portuguese pine resin company.

Her responsibilities included silvicultural prescriptions, quality control, certification, and supply chain planning. She also taught for a year at a Forestry Department in Brazil.

Her research at UNB is applied to optimize forestry towards more diverse, productive, healthy and sustainable ecosystems.
