Dahlia Das

Dahlia is a Project Manager at J.D. Irving Ltd, Information Technology Division and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She has over 10 years of experience working in global organizations across India and Canada, including Tata Consultancy Services and Deloitte.

Dahlia is passionate about achieving organization objectives effectively and innovatively by channelizing the strengths of its people. She is a firm believer in the power of leadership, communication, coaching and relationship-building. She joined the Faculty of Business at UNB Saint John as a part-time instructor in January 2018.

Dahlia holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, India, an MBA in Innovation & Technology from University of New Brunswick, Saint John, Canada, and a second MBA in Human Resources Management from ICFAI University, Dehradun, India. She is an active member of Toastmasters International, serves in various leadership roles in the Toastmasters community and achieved her Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) designation in March 2018. She is also a board member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) New Brunswick Chapter, and the Indo-Canadian Society of Saint John.

In her spare time Dahlia enjoys dancing and multi-cultural programs, art & crafts, writing and traveling. She has recently started learning about Bhakti Yoga and meditation. She relishes the diversity of places, people and experiences she comes across.
