Dr. Tracy Betsinger (she, her) is Professor and Chair of the Department of Anthropology at SUNY Oneonta, USA. As a bioarchaeologist, her research focuses on the intersection of social status, settlement patterns, age and gender, identity, and mortuary patterns with patterns of health in past populations. She has conducted research with historic Polish and British populations, as well as with populations from prehistoric southeastern United States. She will be collaborating with Dr. Amy Scott on a new project exploring historic populations from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
