Indigenous Film Festival features the film Yintah-SJ

As part of UNB Saint John's Indigenous Film Festival, the film Yintah will be shown on Monday, Sept. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre.

Yintah follows Wet'suwet'en leaders for over a decade as they fight to protect their lands from fossil-fuel companies.

The film contains scenes discussing residential schools, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, suicide and police violence.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Light refreshments will be provided and the evening will open with a short film before the feature.
