As part of UNB Saint John's Indigenous Film Festival, the film WaaPaKe (Tomorrow) will be shown on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Ganong Hall Lecture Theatre.
Employing a range of innovative cinematic means, WaaPaKe (Tomorrow) asks the difficult question: "Who are we without our pain?" This deeply personal documentary unravels the tangled threads of silence endured by residential school Survivors, exploring themes of truth, freedom and power.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome! Light refreshments will be provided and the evening will open with a short film before the feature.
