Join us on Wednesday, March 26 the UNB Early Childhood Centre and the UNB Faculty of Education, host The Sherman Early Childhood Learning Series: Literacies Across a Lifetime with Canadian author Kayla Geitzler.
During the coming school year, selected Canadian authors will offer a one-hour online session open the public. The goal of this series is to engage participants in thinking and learning about the complexities of what it means to be diverse literate learners.

March 26: Kyla Geitzler
Kayla Geitzler is from Moncton, NB, within Siknikt of the Mi'kma'ki. Named a "Rad Woman of Canadian Poetry", she was Moncton's first Poet Laureate. Co-editor of Cadence, Voix féminines Female Voices (Frog Hollow 2020), she is also editor of We The Women, an ongoing poetry publication by incarcerated NB women.
Kayla holds an MA in English, Creative Writing, from UNB and works as a Court Stenographer and editor.
