The Faculty of Arts at UNB Fredericton is holding its 10th annual Arts Matters Conference from March 20-22, 2025 on the unceded and unsurrendered territory of Wolastoqiyik. The theme for this year is "Learning through community: collaborative approaches to creating and knowing." Any student with an academic or creative work they wish to share is welcome to apply to present; participation in the conference is free.
The submission deadline to be considered as a presenter at the conference is February 28, 2025.
If you have a project that you would love to share but aren’t sure if it fits, please send us your abstract as we are looking to build a highly diverse program of presentations. For more information on how to submit your work, please email engagearts@unb.ca.
Arts Matters is an interdisciplinary academic conference that provides undergraduate students at UNB and across Canada with an opportunity to showcase their critical thinking, research, and creative work before an audience of their colleagues and peers. Arts Matters is an excellent opportunity to share your learning and research while you hone your presentation skills. On March 22, a celebratory gala will be held at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. All information related to the upcoming conference is available on UNB's website, including a conference schedule.
If you have questions about the event or how you can participate, please contact Tabatha Armstrong at t.armstrong@unb.ca.
