UNB Remembers Montreal Massacre-SJ

Event Details:

Thirty years ago, on Dec. 6, 1989, a senseless act of violence took the lives of 14 women at École Polytechnique in Montréal. Many of these young women were engineering students.
 
Each year, on this day of remembrance, we pay tribute to those whose lives were taken, and those whose lives were impacted.
 
On Dec. 6, the UNB Saint John community is hosting its annual memorial event to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, in which we honour the memories of those who died and also reflect on gender-based violence, and gender-disparity in STEM-related fields.
