Gardasil-9 HPV Vaccine Clinic -FR

Human Papilloma Virus is the most common sexually transmitted disease, affecting 75 per cent of Canadians. As a strategy to prevent cancer and warts, the Gardasil ®9 is recommended to all and protects against more cancer-causing strains than previous versions. The HPV vaccine used to be given only to women to prevent cervical cancer, but this vaccine can extend to prevent other types of cancers in both men and women. In fact, it is now recommended for men age nine to 26 and women age nine to 45. The UNB health plan covers 80 per cent of costs and with STU health plan, pay less than $10!
Join third year nursing students, in partnership with the UNB Student Health Centre, at the Campus Pharmacy on Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. to receive the vaccination, Gardasil ®9.
