Meagan Hatfield is an Associate Teaching Professor with the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences at UNB Saint John. Over the past 7 years, she has worked with students in both classroom and clinical practice environments. She has a passion for child development and the social welfare of children and has done work within the community reflecting this.
Meagan also enjoys working in the clinical setting with students from years 2 to 4 of the nursing program. She has worked on a variety of acute care and family medicine units over the years, sharing her experience and knowledge with students. Finally, Meagan has continued to work with various healthcare professionals to ensure quality interprofessional education opportunities for students within the nursing program. This is a developing interest and an area that she feels is essential to all healthcare programs.
