Certificate in Facilitating Workplace Psychological Safety

Champion psychological health and safety

Coming winter 2025, the Certificate in Facilitating Workplace Psychological Safety (CFWPS) program will help you become a Psychologically Safe Facilitator (PSF) by teaching you how to develop, establish and maintain your own psychological health and safety program for championing psychological health and safety.

  • Designed to prepare you in how to facilitate workplace mental health programs (i.e., psychological health and safety)
  • Aligns with government expectations for preventing psychological harm and promoting healthy and safe workplaces
  • Aligned to CSA psychological health and safety standard for how to implement psychological health and safety
  • Develops your credentials and career opportunities in psychological health and safety
  • Apply courses toward the OHS Diploma for further professional development and credentials

A Psychologically Safe Facilitator (PSF) wears many hats—they might be an HR expert, part of your occupational health and safety team, a union advocate, an external specialist, or a strategic consultant dedicated to your organization's success.

At the heart of their role, PSFs are the champions for psychological health and safety. The role of the PSF is to design, implement and facilitate workplace mental health initiatives using a Plan - Do - Check - Act approach. 

This certificate aligns with our Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety so you can put the hours you complete toward our diploma program.

This senate-approved program has also been designed to align with and support, the North Star of CSA Z1003 Standard in Psychological Health and Safety to reduce mental harm and to promote mental health within workplaces.

This program will launch in early 2025.
