This is a core course for the Family Violence Issues Certificate Program at UNB but can be taken separately from the Certificate Program. This course presents an overview of the theory, literature, research and evaluation strategies that inform the development and delivery of interventions for people who commit violence in intimate partner relationships. Students are invited to immerse themselves in the materials and to reflect critically on the complex issues that are manifest in this field.
This course is cross listed as SOCI 3006. Credit can only be obtained for one of FVI 3006 and SOCI 3006.

This course is designed to help you:
Students have six months from the registration date to complete the course. All course exams and/or assignments must be completed by the designated end date.
Each paper must be 5-10 pages and must use the material covered during that module to address the "questions of interest" that emerged from the material.
