This course builds on Spanish Beginner Level 1. Students will learn additional expressions which will provide them with the ability to show possession and give opinions about subjects that are prevalent among locals.
At the end of the course, students will be able to craft a short presentation about a Hispanic country they would like to visit using content from this course. This course is designed for students who already possess a clear understanding of beginner Spanish grammar and basic Spanish vocabulary.
In this course, students will continue expanding their vocabulary and conversational skills. They will also advance their knowledge of verb conjugation including the past simple tense and the future simple tense.
Classes will integrate an expanded list of vocabulary terms related to travel scenarios.
No textbooks are required. Simply bring a notebook, pencil, and a warm, cheerful smile to the classroom. Carla is more than happy to welcome you.

Carla was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Spanish is her mother language, but she is also fluent in English and French. She is a current learner at UNB herself, but also has experience teaching in her home country.
