Learn the three types of meringue:

  • Swiss, French and Italian. * Pavlova. * Mostachón cake. (Mexican meringue cake) * Individual Baked Alaska.

About the instructor

Ana Gonzalez is a passionate pastry chef with a deep love for combining her rich Mexican heritage and nostalgia with the art of pastry-making.

Born and raised in Mexico, Ana moved to New Brunswick in 2017, bringing with her a wealth of culinary tradition and creativity. Having worked at restaurants such as Brewbakers, 11th Mile, and as the head pastry chef at Neighbourly Coffee, Ana has developed her skills in crafting exceptional desserts that celebrate both technique and nostalgia.

Her love for pastry arts and cooking shines through in each creation, as she enjoys infusing her desserts with flavours that remind her of home while exploring new culinary techniques.
