Drawing for Beginners 2

Continue your journey into the fundamentals of drawing

This course will build on what you have already learned in Drawing for Beginners class.

It will further your skills by going more in depth about key drawing concepts and helping to build your confidence and knowledge as you approach more complex subject matters such as rendering, lighting, textures, anatomy and color theory.

This six-week course is designed to help get you started on your own artistic journey.

Materials

  • Drawing paper can be white or coloured
  • Any kind of drawing material e.g. alcohol markers, pastels, conte, charcoal, pens, oil pastels
  • Drawing board and or easel
  • Eraser
  • Drawing pencils

Winter term

Wednesdays, March 12 to April 16 (6 weeks)
6 - 8 p.m.
$149 (+ HST)

Registration opens Oct. 18.

About the instructor

Ameesha Tirmazi is a versatile artist who holds a BFA from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. In addition to painting and drawing, Ameesha enjoys working in a variety of creative fields such as animation, graphic design and illustration.

With a history of living in different, cities, countries and continents, Ameesha uses her past experiences as inspiration for her work, recreating the world around her. Ameesha has been freelancing and teaching art classes since university.
