Faculty: Faculty of Law
Degree(s): Juris Doctor of Law
Campus: Fredericton
The study of law is a diverse and rewarding path where you will grow your passion and problem solving skills. If you want a future career that takes place in progressive environments where great changes are made every day, choose law.
The Juris Doctor (J.D.) is a full-time, three-year program. Applicants to the law program must have completed a degree from a recognized Canadian university or an accredited non-Canadian university which is deemed acceptable by the UNB Faculty of Law.
One of Canada's strongest practice-oriented J.D. programs - UNB is home to "Canada's great small law school." Our small size allows us to get to know each and every student - you are not just a number at UNB.
At UNB Law, we believe in providing students with numerous opportunities to put legal theory into practice. Whether through the competitive mooting program, the in-house law journal, or judicial or public interest internships, you will feel confident and prepared upon graduation.
