HEAL4009Qualitative Design and Analysis3 ch (3C)

The basic principles and techniques used in qualitative and mixed methods research will be introduced. Planning, conducting, reporting, and critiquing the analysis of qualitative and mixed methods data, including different ways to approach research will be discussed. Students will develop familiarity with research tools required for field work such as surveys, interviews, observation, and focus groups. 

Prerequisites: STAT 2263 with a minimum grade of C (or equivalent) and one of HEAL 2002, or HEAL 2003 (or equivalent)
