HEAL4008Public Health Data Analysis3 ch (3C) (W)

This is an applied course, emphasizing use of quantitative and/or qualitative methods in real health data sources; correct interpretations of analyses; writing and presenting results to public health professionals and general lay audiences; and critical appraisal of these methods as used in the public health literature. Statistical software will be used. 

Prerequisites: STAT 2263 with a minimum grade of C and one of STAT 2793 (or equivalent), HEAL 2002, or HEAL 2003
