Topics include: file systems and structures, advanced query languages, query optimization, concurrency control and recovery, security and integrity, systems for Big Data processing including the Map/Reduce framework and related Apache projects. Prerequisites: CS 1103, CS 2383, and 70 ch completed. CS 2704 is optional but recommended. |
