Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering

GGE3700Survey Project and Report6 ch (2C 2L) (W) (EL)
A full year course (fall term, then winter term) involving the completion of a cadastral survey project and reporting on the results, all under the direct supervision of a faculty member and licensed land surveyor. Lecture topics include economics and business managementissues specific to the survey profession, financial decision-making in geomatics, land surveying articling process, project management techniques, technical report writing, and presentation skills.  Must be done in the students' final year of the programme. Open only to Bachelor of Geomatics Students, credit will not be given for both GGE 3700 and GGE 4700.
