Analyze how science, medicine, religion, and law have influenced the complex interplay between gender, sex, and intimate practices. Examine how political ideologies, racialized hierarchies, economic inequities, reproductive technologies, and mass violence have impacted the creation of identities and the regulation of behaviour.
