Wendy J. Robbins Prize in Gender and Women’s Studies

A prize of $1,000 to be awarded annually on the recommendation of the Coordinator of Gender and Women’s Studies Program to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts degree program on the Fredericton campus who has completed one of the required introductory courses in Gender and Women’s Studies and is entering into their second year of full or part-time study. The recipient should demonstrate interest in Gender and Women’s Studies and in advancing the rights and representation of underrepresented groups and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0. The prize is funded by the Wendy J. Robbins Empowerment Fund, created to honour the memory of a co-founder of the Women’s Studies program at UNB.
