Peter J. Hughes Sustainable Forestry Award

Conditions

Awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management to a full time student on the Fredericton campus in the Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Management after the completion of at least 60 ch in the BScF or BScFE degree program. The recipient must have demonstrated a commitment to sustainable forestry practices. Preference will be given to students from Atlantic Canada who have been involved in private woodlot management. The award has been funded by family, friends and business associates in memory of the late Peter J. Hughes who was a long-time employee of the NB Federation of Woodlot Owners.
