Loring Woart Bailey Prize in Science

Conditions

This prize of $500 was established by the late Joseph Whitman Bailey of the class of 1884 in memory of his father, Loring Woart Bailey, LLD, Professor of Science in the University for nearly fifty years (1861-1907). The prize is to be given alternately in the Departments of Biology and Earth Sciences. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department concerned.
