Awarded to a Fredericton campus student who has demonstrated high academic achievement (3.0 assessment year GPA for returning students, and 80% average for entering students), special athletic ability in the sport of men's varsity basketball, as well as leadership abilities in his surrounding community. This award is open to transfer students.

The University, on the recommendation of the Faculty of Kinesiology in consultation with the Director of Athletics and the Men's Basketball Coach.
