Culture & Media Studies Spanish Book Prize

Conditions

A book prize awarded annually on the recommendation of the Department of Culture & Media Studies, to a Fredericton campus SPAN 1204 or SPAN 1304 student who has achieved excellence in the study of Spanish and is enrolled in the Comparative Cultural Studies program. This book prize is provided through a donation from the Estate of Joe Blades. Joe Blades (1961-2020) was a Fredericton-based editor, poet and activist; he published bilingual (Spanish-English, Spanish-French) and trilingual (Spanish, English, French) books.
