Human Resource Management is integral to managing and leading teams. Effective human resource management facilitates quality service delivery for the recipients of healthcare, as well as a positive work environment for healthcare professionals. The student will have an opportunity to explore challenges and the best practices of human resource management within the healthcare environment. Some topics include tole definition, performance evaluation, team motivation, and scheduling. NOTE: This course is offered exclusively for students enrolled in the Nursing Leadership and Management Certificate.

Prerequisite: BA 5001 with a minimum grade of C.
