A multidisciplinary approach to the history and cultures of Indigenous Peoples focusing on interactions with European newcomers and the challenges faced by First Nations within the context of colonialism - both historical and contemporary. Decolonizations as it pertains to governance and territorial rights, health and community; language and education will also be examined.
