This course provides an introduction to understanding the importance of and the application of career development throughout the public education system. Topics include the historical development of career guidance, theories of vocational development, career education in the public system, career assessments, Social Emotional Learning, Global Competencies, Problem Based Learning, Experiential Learning, Labour Market information, Universal Design for Learning, and working with students from various minority groups.
