This course will introduce students to biological concepts that apply to everyday life. Topics will be chosen to help students understand the molecular interactions that are essential for life, the cellular processes that are required for survival and reproduction, and the importance of these to human health, industry, and the environment. Note: This course is not equivalent to BIOL 1001/1009 or 1012/1019, and is restricted to students who have not received prior credit for BIOL 1001 or 1012, or 1019. |
