PSYC6523Co-Teaching Apprenticeship3 ch
Teaching is often an important part of the role and duties of clinical psychologists. Because of this, all students are expected to complete a teaching apprenticeship under the supervision of a faculty member. The purpose of the teaching apprenticeship is to offer students a chance to acquire teaching skills within the context of a supervised experience. Students in the clinical program will typically co-teach a lower level undergraduate course (e.g. Introductory Psychology, one of the Foundations courses) with a faculty member. The availability of specific courses may vary from year to year depending on departmental resources. Required course.Prerequisites: none.
