This course provides an advanced, in-depth examination of the practice of counselling and guidance in the school system. Key content will include the role and duties of the counsellors in schools, the development of skills for engaging in counselling and guidance activities with students, curriculum and program expectations, and legal and ethical considerations that come with being both a teacher and counsellor.
