This course will prepare learners to provide counselling support services in the unique context of Indigenous communities. It will explore the historical, political, and socioeconomic dynamics influencing the governance and day to day functioning of contemporary communities in New Brunswick and beyond, in order to ensure that learners are equipped with the necessary knowledge to effectively guide individual, family and community growth and change.
