Red+Black Day was on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024!
Red+Black Day celebrates our proud UNB community. It is you, our alumni, faculty, staff and students, who make this such a special place. We are proud to be a part of this community and want to share that pride with all UNBers, near and far.
How you can participate on Red+Black Day
- Wear red and black!
- Tag @unbalumni on Facebook, X (Twitter), or Instagram in photos wearing your red and black for a chance to win a prize pack.
- Get some free ice cream, we've got ice cream socials (almost) everywhere!
- In Fredericton, head to the SUB Quad for an ice cream social between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., brought to you by the UNBSU!
- In Saint John, head to the green space between the Commons and Irving Hall for an ice cream social between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., brought to you by the SRC!
- In Moncton, head to the cafeteria for an ice cream social betweee 12 and 1 p.m., brought to you by the faculty of nursing!
- Track down some delicious red and black desserts from Chartwells!
- In Fredericton, red and black cakes as a dessert offering in dining halls, and red and black berry tarts in Tilley, SUB, ICU, HIL, and D'Avray.
- In Saint John, red and black cakes as a dessert offering in the dining hall, and mini red and black cupcakes at the Commons Cafe.
- Enjoy special red and black menu items at the Cellar Pub on the Fredericton campus and the Lunar Rogue Pub in Fredericton!
